Toy and Joy Program

Hillsboro Firefighter’s Random Acts coordinates Hillsboro’s annual Toy and Joy program through a partnership with local organizations.  Our Toy and Joy program is built upon over 50 years of tradition; originally starting with Hillsboro Firefighter’s L2210 Union.  Each year, we provide needed food, household essentials and toys to hundreds of families during the holiday season.  If you are interested in supporting the Toy and Joy program or would like to know more, please continue reading. Also; visit our Facebook page at HillsboroRA.

If you are interested in providing a financial donation, click on the secure link below that says ‘Donate,’ drop off a check payable to “Toy and Joy” at any of your local Hillsboro Fire stations, or mail a check to PO Box 895, Hillsboro, OR 97123. All donations are tax deductible and will receive a paper receipt if mailed or handed in. If donating online, please print a receipt for tax purposes.

It was another great Christmas Season for Hillsboro Firefighters Toy and Joy. Enough money was raised to spend $12,000 at the Toy Buy and thousands of toys were donated from organizations and community members. On December 19th, organized by the Hillsboro Elks, we helped deliver food and toys to over 680 families including over 1280 children!

Thank you to all of  those organizations, businesses and people who helped us this season!
